Dear Tempe Resident,

In May 2008, the lease will expire for the Mervyns located at the northwest corner of Southern Avenue and Rural Road. We are pleased to share with you that Wal-Mart has acquired the building currently occupied by Mervyns. We plan to re-open it in the Summer of 2008, bringing you the convenience of one-stop shopping for groceries, apparel, pharmacy, lawn & garden, and hundreds of other household needs.
